การประชุม Online Seminar ระหว่างคณะเทคโนโลยีการเกษตร มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ Meiji University, Japan และ Queensland University of Technology, Australia  Guest speaker คือ Professor Emeritus Acram Taji AM is a global humanitarian educator holding degrees from the University of Tehran in Iran, Sydney and Flinders Universities in Australia and Harvard in USA.  She has taught in universities in Australia, Bhutan, Canada, Fiji, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam and USA. She has supervised 55 Masters and PhD students’ theses from 15 countries. Acram has been the recipient of several distinguished national and international awards for excellence in teaching and research. Most notably the Australian Award for University Teaching, the International Association for Plant Biotechnology Research Award, Flinders University’s Distinguished Alumni, the Japanese Government Senior Distinguished Fellowship, and Iran’s highest Science and Technology Research Award (Khwarizmi International Award).  Professor Taji is on the editorial boards of a number of international journals and has served on the review committees of many universities within and outside Australia. In 2000 she made history by becoming the first female to reach the rank of full professor in the history of Faculty of Agriculture and Rural Science at the University of New England in Australia and becoming the first Iranian /Australian to achieve this rank in Australia. At present she holds the position of Professor Emeritus or Distinguished Professor in several universities around the globe. She is the author of over 200 articles, 8 books and a DVD in her area of research – in vitro plant breeding and plant tissue culture. Acram is a highly experienced educator who is passionate about outstanding educational experience for students.  Her philosophy underpins her teaching and research.
